High-end furniture sourcing, no commission

The time you don't have. The eye it takes.

I search, compare and set aside — then hand you a selection where all that's left is to decide. For owners of homes in Provence and on the French Riviera, prestige estate agencies and architects. A fixed fee and no commission: you pay for my work, never for your purchases.

What you're buying

Time

Finding the right piece isn't a matter of leafing through a catalogue. It means comparing dozens of houses, checking dimensions to the centimetre, real lead times and finishes, and setting aside everything that won't hold its own in the room. That work takes weeks. You don't have them — I take them on.

An eye

A right interior isn't born of beautiful pieces placed side by side. It comes from a point of view held from start to finish: one material that calls for another, a scale, a light, an empty space left on purpose. That is what I compose — and that, in the end, is what you're buying.

The principle

An eye is only worth something if it's free.

Fixed fee
You know my fee before the project begins. It doesn't move with the amount you spend.
Zero commission
When I propose a piece, it's because it suits the space — not because it earns me anything. I take nothing from the houses or the makers. When a maker offers a referral commission, I ask for it to be turned into an extra discount for you.
You pay the house, not me
I buy nothing, resell nothing and hold no stock. I send you a purchase link at the trade price, and your payment goes directly to the maker. My fee is the only money that comes to me, and you know it in advance.
Around 15% for you
The trade discount is around 15% of the retail price; it varies with the house and the volume. It is passed on in full: you buy direct, at the trade price, and I show you the difference figure by figure.

From abroad

I'm on site when you're not.

Many homes in Provence belong to people who live elsewhere — in Brussels, Geneva, London or Stockholm. They often find the house empty on the day they collect the keys, then fly home. My way of working is built for exactly that.

A written brief
Send your plans, photos of the rooms, your budget and your timing by email. Everything is agreed in writing, so you keep a clear record of every decision.
A selection you can decide on from anywhere
Every piece with its house, dimensions, real lead time and trade price, in a single document.
You order direct
A trade-price purchase link for each piece. Your payment goes straight to the maker; nothing passes through me.
I handle what happens on site
Lead times, deliveries and installation, with photo updates until every piece is in place. You come back to a finished home.

Where it began

Portrait of Deka, founder of Studio Nur Eliora.

Before this studio, I cared for patients.

For years, I stood beside people in their hardest moments — until the day their pain became my own.

I needed a turning point. Not an escape. A choice for my own life.

To work where beauty stands up to pain. Where every piece, every room, is a reminder that beauty exists — and that it heals in its own way.

That is where Studio Nur Eliora began.

Services

Three ways to work together.

Two bouclé daybeds on walnut legs, in front of a glass wall opening onto an ivy courtyard.

Furnishing a home

For an owner or a hotelier, whether you live here or abroad: an interior composed from A to Z, from the first material board to the installation of each piece.

Kitchen in a Parisian apartment: grey cabinets, marble worktops, herringbone parquet, a view of a Haussmann building.

Staging before sale

For a prestige agency: dressing a property before photos and viewings. An empty home gets negotiated; a well-composed one sells at the asking price.

Fabric swatches, a glazed tile and colour cards laid flat, with dried thistles.

Project sourcing

For an interior architecture project: pieces researched, choices made, references, lead times and trade prices gathered in one workable selection.

The method

Three steps, nothing left in the dark.

I

The brief

Your plans, your budget, your timing, the temperament of the place. An hour's conversation is enough to frame the project.

II

The selection

A selection sheet: every piece with its house, dimensions, real delivery time and trade price. Not a mood board to interpret — a document to decide on.

III

The order

The file comes with a trade-price purchase link for each piece. You order directly from the house. I then coordinate lead times, delivery and installation until everything is in place.

Design proposals

Three empty rooms, three points of view.

A bare room, then the direction I give it: a material, a scale, a light, and pieces chosen from a specific house.

The same living room furnished: walnut bookcases, two bouclé sofas, a burgundy velvet daybed, a red Persian rug and a gilded chandelier. Large empty living room with cream walls, two arched windows and a glazed double door. Before After

The same room as a Japandi bedroom: low oak bed facing the garden, white bedding embroidered with a sun, a bouclé bench, a cream rug and linen sheers. Empty room with a slatted wood ceiling, limewashed walls, a glass wall onto a Japanese garden and a bonsai on a stone. Before After

What you receive

A document to decide on.

Not a mood board to interpret. Each piece comes with its house, its real lead time and the discount obtained — enough to decide in a single reading, with nothing left to recalculate.

A price agreed before we begin.

on quotation

Pre-sale staging

For an agency: dressing a property before photos and viewings, installation included. Furniture is extra, bought at trade price: it can stay in the property if it sells furnished. Above €2M, the fee is indexed to the asking price.

€3,000 – €7,000

Sourcing for professionals

For an architect or designer: research, selection sheet, trade prices and lead times. Fee per project.

€1,500 – €5,000

My fee is usually around 10% of the furniture budget, with no commission at all. On a €40,000 furniture project, the trade discount returns around €6,000 to you, depending on the houses involved: it covers most of my fee. I show you, figures in hand, before you commit.

What moves the price within the range: the number of rooms, bespoke pieces, urgency and travel. The final fee is set after our first conversation, and you know it before you commit.

The network

  • Artemest
  • Silvera
  • 1stDibs
  • Pamono
  • Étoffe

Complemented by a network of Italian, French and Portuguese makers, and by the search for antique and vintage pieces when a project calls for them.

Frequently asked

What people often ask me.

How does “no commission” work?

I take nothing from the houses or the makers. My only income is my fee, set before the project begins. When a maker offers a referral commission, I ask for it to be turned into a discount for you.

Who pays for the furniture, and to whom?

You do, directly to the house. For each piece I send you a trade-price purchase link: the money for your purchases never passes through me.

What discount will I get?

Usually around 15% of the retail price, depending on the house and the volume. I show you the difference, figures in hand, before any order.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. The brief and the selection are done in writing, by email, and I then coordinate deliveries and installation. I'm based in Marseille and work across France.

How long does a project take?

The selection takes a few weeks to prepare. After that, it depends on the houses: several weeks, sometimes several months for made-to-order pieces. Every lead time is on the selection sheet.

Do you work with interior architects?

Yes. I take care of sourcing the pieces for your project, with a selection sheet, trade prices and lead times. You stay in charge of the design.
